St. Mary’s Church located close to JHV mall, Cantt. Locality is a 200years old Christian religious destination. The church was established by Rev George Weatly, in 1810. This very church carries a glorious and classic history, due to which it is even termed as ‘Church of England or Englishia Church’. Queen Elizabeth II toured this church in the year 1960. Presently the church is no more used to offer prayers. INTACH or Indian National Trust for Act, Culture and Heritage has taken the responsibility to renovate this heritage spot and preserve it.

St. Thomas Church in Varanasi

St. Thomas Church in Girijaghar, Varanasi is another hot-spot for the Christian community. This Church is also located very close to the Cantonment Railway station. The opening timing of the church differs in summer and winter months. It opens at 5.30 pm during summer and 5.00 pm during winter days.
